The Battle Cry: Marching Orders for January 14, 2018

I am presently here in the Holy Land, but I had to stay at home today and could not attend Holy Mass at the Monastery because I wasn’t feeling well. So I spent my morning in prayer at home and in Lectio Divina on the scripture readings for the Second Sunday in ordinary time. Then I remained still with our Lord in silence and said to Him, “speak Lord, your servant is listening. Here I am Lord, I come to do your will. I desire you!“

I heard the Lord speak in my spirit, “Here I am, Ann, with you as always. I love you, Ann, as I love all My children, with My bleeding Heart – Love poured out for you and all the world.

My child, why do you doubt my love and power to save you? Am I not here with you, my child? You are never alone. I am always with you, guarding you from evil – from the Evil One who seeks your destruction with vengeance. He seeks to devour you, but I will not permit him any power over your soul, for you belong to Me. Trust Me, child. My love is stronger than death. Ann, listen to Me. My love is yours forever – for all eternity. No one can snatch you from My Hands. You believe in Me; trust Me more deeply. I will never leave you or forsake you My child. This you know by My Word. Take this Truth and hold it deep within your heart.

Your Jesus“

After hearing these words from Jesus in my spirit, He led me to open my Bible for a confirming word from Him regarding the message He had just given me. I opened the Scriptures randomly, and my eyes fell upon Nahum 2:15,

“Look, there on the mountains the Feet of One who brings Good News, who proclaims Peace!

Celebrate your festivals, O Judah, and fulfill your vows.

No more will the wicked invade you. They will be completely destroyed.”

Upon reading this verse, my heart lifted in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord for His goodness and kindness to me! Trust in the Lord always, my dear sisters and brothers!
